We’re proud to introduce SmartYogi and StrongYogi—two courses we’ve created to meet a need we often see in the yoga community.

With over 15 years of experience in yoga and physical health, and many years of leading yoga teacher trainings, we’ve had the joy of meeting countless people on the mat. From curious beginners to experienced teachers, we’ve heard many share the same challenges.

Through these conversations, a clear pattern has emerged:
No matter your level or background, many practitioners face similar roadblocks. Some struggle with injuries or discomfort that limit their movement. Others feel stuck, even with regular practice.

With SmartYogi and StrongYogi, our goal is to help you understand why these challenges arise—and to give you the tools you need to build a sustainable, evolving, and fulfilling yoga practice. We want your practice to not only strengthen your body, but also bring more joy, balance, and resilience into your daily life—for many years to come.

These programs originally began as in-person workshops, but we soon realized that online courses were the natural next step. In a workshop, it’s easy to forget what you’ve learned. But with an online course, you can take your time, revisit lessons, and go deeper at your own pace—from the comfort of your home.

Who are the teachers?

 

SmartYogi and StrongYogi were created by us—Eilin and Halat, founders of Yogaskolen.
These online courses are built on the same foundational principles we use in our yoga classes and the teacher trainings we’ve been leading since 2018.

We both share a deep love for nourishing movement and truly believe that many common aches and pains could be avoided—and life significantly improved—if more people understood what truly supports a healthy, functional body.
Because honestly—who doesn’t want a body that works well and feels good?

Halat has, among other things, used many of the techniques in these courses to recover significantly from both fibromyalgia and panic anxiety.
Eilin has spent years studying nourishing movement with a wide range of respected teachers.
