Eilin Ma Dalby
My name is Eilin, and I’ve been teaching yoga since 2011. I’ve completed several different yoga teacher trainings, including RYS 200 and RYS 300, and I’m registered as an E-RYT 500 and YACEP through the globally recognized Yoga Alliance. My training spans both dynamic and gentle styles of yoga—primarily Vinyasa Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga—as well as Yin Yoga, Prenatal and Postnatal yoga, Children’s yoga, Restorative Yoga, and more. I primarily teach Vinyasa and Yin yoga today.
Beyond the physical practice, I also have a deep interest in the deeper dimensions of yoga, such as philosophy, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies from the University of Oslo, with major in Chinese language, religion, and history. My interest in Buddhism and Daoism was what initially led me to explore yogic philosophy.
Since 2020, I’ve developed and led my own yoga teacher trainings. Outside Yogaskolen, I also work as a Master Trainer for yoga instructors at SATS - the biggest fitness chain in the Nordics, where I develop their yoga products and yoga instructor trainings. In addition, I lead workshops and retreats, allowing me to teach across the world.
My commitment to yoga comes from a deeply rooted belief in its transformative power—something I’ve experienced firsthand through my own practice. Sharing these meaningful tools with others continues to inspire and enrich my journey. In my classes, I emphasize technique and flow, and I believe that joy is the strongest foundation for a lasting yoga practice.
